Rancho Faria was born from the love for the countryside. Marli Faria is grandaugther of farmers and daughter of ranchers. Osmar Faria was born in Loanda, PR, but made his living as a businessman in the supermarket field in Apucarana, PR. Their sons, Octávio and Victor, already had great familiarity with the country since young: Octávio, the older son, lived a long time at his grandfather's farm and when he was three years old, already loved horses.

At seven, he started learning classic horse riding, competing at state championships. In 2000, se classified for the National Championship in Brasília, representing the state of Paraná. At the end of the event, we was among the 12 best riders in the Junior category.

At 10, Octávio started to compete in barrel horse events. At that time, their parents game him as a present his first horse: Miss Diamond Lenne. With her, he competed and won many championships.

Because of the business, the couple Osmar and Marli moved to Apucarana. At that time, Victor, their younger son, joined classic horse riding and started to compete. He won his first horse, Hobbin Hood and won may events with it.

It was from the belief of the success of their children and the prolific market of quarter horses that in the end, Osmar and Marli decided to build a small haras that one day would become the Rancho Faria.
